Yin Yoga is my personal favourite type of yoga not only to perform but also to teach. Practicing Yin Yoga has helped me with anxiety, flexibility, mental clarity, recovery and much more. Yin Yoga is a slower type of yoga compared to Hatha or Vinaysa style yoga classes. In Yin Yoga, we generally hold the poses from 2 to 15 minutes at a time. By holding our poses longer, it makes the practice almost meditative in a way and also allows us to experience deep relaxation.
I always thought yoga was for women before I tried it. After I tried yoga, I was instantly hooked and realized the tremendous benefits. My goal is to help other men experience that too.
